Part One: Getting to Know Cera Colors
Hello there Cera Colors!!! In the spirit of creative courage, I've been exploring them. I was offered the opportunity to explore three tubes and give some feedback on the merits of the product. (Did you know word "Cera" means wax in Italian & Spanish?) After a few days with them, I can tell you for certain they are now a staple in my toolbox. The properties of this product are different in application from traditional encaustic products right off the bat. Encaustic pigmented products are usually in cake form. CeraColors are packaged in tubes like water color or oil paints. Am I about to use these in the same manner as cold wax artists? Or do I need my favorite source of heating utensil a
